At all times training and competition matches are controlled by one or more referees who are there to implement FINA rules and to ensure the safety of all players.
An appropriately qualified lifeguard is present at all training sessions.
All members of Guernsey Water Polo sign to abide by the ASA Code of Conduct and Code of Ethics.
The club adheres to the "Guidance for young people and adults training and competing together in water polo" as detailed in Wavepower 2020-2023 the Swim England Child Safeguarding Policies and Procedures. (See pages 98/99)
